Phil Does a Nuzlocke: Pokemon Y #2 - Part 1

I moved half way across the country recently and have decided to restart my Pokemon Y nuzlocke. Now, I bring you Pokemon Y #2. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I do!

As before - Rules I'm following:
  1. Catch only the first Pokemon encountered in each route/area.
  2. Nickname all Pokemon.
  3. Once a Pokemon faints, it is considered dead and much be put in the PC.
  4. If the first Pokemon encountered on a route/area has already been caught, the next Pokemon encountered will be caught instead.
  5. Gift Pokemon are allowed. 


This time, I started off my journey with Cheeks the Chespin! We were both excited to start out journey.


And away we go! Cheeks and I ran onto Route 2 and ran into a Pidgey. Great, another Pidgey. We will take what we can get, though. Orville the Pidgey joins the team! I put our newest member in the lead heading into the forest, and he did a great job at taking care of a Scatterbug. Unfortunately, we wanted to catch that Scatterbug. Route 3 will be better, I hope.

With the help of our friends Pokemon and human, Santalune Forest was no match. Route 3 promised a new and exciting encounter. Fletchling appeared, and Cheeks made sure not to take the birdy down too low before we captured our newest teammate, Dave! Now, it is time to head to Santalune City!

Before entering the gym, a skater by the name of Rinka made up battle her, and then she gave us some awesome roller skates. Now we can cruise in style. Viola and her bug gym were no watch to Orville and Dave.

Dave took down her Surskit without any problems, but her Vivillon and its infestation were almost too much for Orville to stand. Luckily, the team made it out of the battle without any loses and a badge.

Dave the Fletchling - Level 12
Orville the Pidgey - Level 13

#Blessed

#blessed There are certain things that are blessings. A new baby in the family, a sick loved one feeling better, or even going out to lunch with a friend you haven't seen in a while. But a pair of new shoes when you already have a ton is not a blessing. A new kitchen table or a new TV is not a blessing. Growing up in a church I honestly rarely heard the words “blessing” or “blessed”. When someone says they are “blessed they are basically saying “God is shinning down on me to get this material thing and I'm going to post on Facebook about it.” Instead what they should be saying is “I'm so thankful to have this new TV” or “I am proud of myself for working hard and saving up for my new TV.” I was scrolling down my news feed and saw that a girl who competed in a vocal competition, got a very high rating. Phil Writes About Sims 3: Forensic Specialist: Dynamic DNA Profiler

Here  is a link to the list of all Lifetime Wishes For this Lifetime wish, a sim needs to gets to level ten of the Police career path (Forensics Branch). Carl Smith decided to set out on this journey. Once he got a job at the Police Station, he set off on a quest to get in shape. Working out in front of an old TV can only get you so far, though.  After working this way up the ranks, Carl found he needed more skills like painting, logic, and writing reports. He managed to scrap enough funds together to purchase an easel. This led to selling painting to buy a chessboard and a computer.  Years of grinding away at these skills finally resulted in Carl reaching his goal of Dynamic DNA Profiler!
