This month brought two pairs of Bombas socks, a bar of Das Boom soap, a sample of Histoires de Parums cologne. a Kiko Leather pocket card case, and a sample of V76 by Vaughn texture paste.
Our first Disney run was this past February 2015, and we were in no way properly prepared so here is what to expect. RunDisney Expo: The expo was a little overwhelming but definitely worth it. There is a lot to look at and free items, so take your time! We were too excited and wanted to get into the parks as soon as we could, but my next race we will be there longer. They had everything from a runners pouch for your phone, keys, etc.to the RunDisney signature shoes! Before the Expo you go to pick up your race bib , t shirt, and a small bag of goodies. BE WARNED! If you are going with a male, the t shirts may be a not so manly color, and he might be upset. But you'll understand because he is doing a princess themed race with you. Morning of the race: STRETCH! The summer of 2013 I joined a website for people who wanted pen pals from other countries. All I had to do was enter my name, age, where I was from, and email. I also included a small paragraph about myself that went something like “My name is Sydney, I'm 19 go to school and work” I included more details like I enjoy theater, I love scary movies, and I really like making people laugh. Instantly my email in box was flooded with emails! I was ecstatic! As I read through a lot, I could tell most were spam, saying things like “Give me your bank account number and I will send you a million dollars because I'm a prince in an foreign country you have never heard of.” Needless to say, those were deleted. One day I got an email that simply said “Hi, My name is Anthony and I live in Uganda. All I want is a friend.” At first I assumed it was spam but I replied anyway with “Hi Anthony, I'm Sydney and I will happily be your friend.” Soon enough Anthony and I were emailing everyday or a...
