Phil Writes About Apps: letsRUMBL

Today, I want to talk about an app called letsRUMBL. This sports app gives you roughly 500 coins when you start out. Then, you bet them against other users in amounts of 25, 50, 100, or 500 coins at a time by making 5 man teams each day. The teams are made up of players of one sport either Basketball, Football, Baseball, or Hockey depending on which is in season. It is pretty easy to get the hang of.

For each match up, you receive a score for how well your players do like you would expect. Your highest score is entered in a weekly contest to see the top 8 scorers of the week are. The top 3 get a lot of coins with the top player getting 250,000 coins. It is hard to get in the top 8 so do not count of it being a regular thing.

There are bonus ways to get coins like watching 5 ads a day gets you 100 coins per ad. Referrals are also a huge way to get coins, but I never both with the inviting people to the game type things.

Once I grind your way up to 10,000 coins, I normally cash out with a $5 Amazon gift card. There are also Starbucks, Best Buy, Domino's, and StubHub giftcards too.

I am not 100% pleased with this app. Sometimes, it pairs you with the same people 10 times in one night when it claims it is random. The app also lags a lot and causes my phone to get too hot to keep in my hand after more than 15 minutes using the app.

Overall, I would say this is a pretty easy way to score some extra pizza money or save up for a concert or game you want to see. Spending just a few minutes at a time on this apps can end up to a few extra dollars a month so if you have some extra time, this might be a good idea for you.

Thank you,
Philip
