Phil Writes About Magic: Cube Additions 01/31/2017

I added five cards to my cube today and wanted to talk a little about each one of them. A link to my cube can be found here:  Cube . I am still working on getting it up to a 360 cube. Kari Zev, Skyship Raider I am really excited about this lady and her monkey friend. Being a 2 casting 1/3 in red is not the best, but I like that she has first strike and menace to help make up for the 1 power. The fact that she makes another attacker pushes her over the top for me. Lightning Bolt Lightning Bolt is one of the best cards around. I don't think anybody that knows Magic needs this one to be explained. Wildfire Wildfire is a fun archetype that I want to try to include in my cube. Building up to, hopefully, wipe your opponent's board while keeping your stronger creatures sounds like something I would like to build.  Mimic Vat Mimic Vat fits in a lot of decks. Having the power to make tokens of, almost, your choice of creatures is pretty fun. I alwa

I added four cards to my cube today and wanted to talk a little about each one of them. A link to my cube can be found here:  Cube . I am still working on getting it up to a 360 cube. Flickerwisp: One generic and two white for a 3/1 flying elemental that flickers anther target permanent. This creature is incredible for cube. It allows you to reuse enter the battlefield abilities again. I am also always happy getting a 3/1 flying attacker out of the deal. Dungeon Geists: Two generic and two blue for a 3/3 flying that taps an opponent's creature until it leaves the battlefield. This is another great cube card. It can lock down one of your opponent's more threatening creatures while still being a decent attacker. This creature could also be used with Flickerwisp to tap down two creatures down a different creature if you change your mind. Ponder: One blue for a sorcery that allows you to look at the top three cards of your library and put hem back in any order, you may shu

Phil Writes About Sims 3: Forensic Specialist: Dynamic DNA Profiler

Here  is a link to the list of all Lifetime Wishes For this Lifetime wish, a sim needs to gets to level ten of the Police career path (Forensics Branch). Carl Smith decided to set out on this journey. Once he got a job at the Police Station, he set off on a quest to get in shape. Working out in front of an old TV can only get you so far, though.  After working this way up the ranks, Carl found he needed more skills like painting, logic, and writing reports. He managed to scrap enough funds together to purchase an easel. This led to selling painting to buy a chessboard and a computer.  Years of grinding away at these skills finally resulted in Carl reaching his goal of Dynamic DNA Profiler! I added four cards to my cube today and wanted to talk a little about each one of them. A link to my cube can be found here:  Cube . I am still working on getting it up to a 360 cube. Raise the Alarm: One white and one generic for an instant that puts two 1/1 white Soldier tokens onto the battlefield. This is a classic tokens card and for good reason. The two bodies on one card is great with other token or aggro strategies. Soulfire Grand Master: One white and one generic for a 2/2 Human Monk creature with lifelink, 'instant and sorcery spell you control have lifelink', and two generic and two hybrid blue or red mana for: 'The Next time you cast an instant or sorcery spell form your hand this turn, put that card into your h and instead of into your graveyard as it revolves. Woah, that's a lot. This creature is pretty insane. Giving all your instant and sorcery spells lifelink gives you a lot of room to work with your burn spells. This ability for four mana is

Phil Writes About Pokemon: First Y Team

Image
I finally finished my first run-through of Pokemon Y. I was pretty happy with my team this time around. I did have some redundant typing, but that ended up being fine in the end. I think next time I  play this version, I don't want to use both of the starters you get. It seems too easy to just fill one third of your team with them and glide through the game.  Venusaur - Level 75 Delphox - Level 75 Pangoro - Level 68 Golurk - Level 71 Glaceon - Level 66 Rhydon - Level 67 Next up, I am doing a Nuzlocke of the new Pokemon Moon! Stay tuned for that. Thank you, Philip Follow Me on Twitter! Follow Us on Twitter! Like Us on Facebook!
