5 Stupid easy ways to get save/ get money (apps)

So, like many other people in this county we could use more money for just about anything. So here are some stupid easy thing we do to save money and get money. In this post I'm going to talk about the apps we have been using.  Yes, all of these take a while to get your reward but its worth it!

Lets star off with mPlaces. When you are around a business you can check in and depending on how big the company is you can get more coins. So basically go for a walk in a busy area (we like to go on a walk through a local strip mall) and you will get all the coins you can for that day. The normal amount you get when you check in is 10 coins. The more coins you have the better prizes you get (obviously). For example we are using our coins for an Amazon gift card. It won't be able to cover a huge purchases but EVERY little thing helps right?

Next up Swagbucks! I use the desktop version more, however I have used the app a lot while I'm at work...but not how you think. On the app you can play videos that are constant. They stop maybe every 45 mins. So when I get to work, I would turn my phone on silent, out it in my locker, open the Swagbucks app, and have the videos playing while I was working! Win-Win! On the desktop version I do pretty much the same. I open it on one tab have the videos play and I can be doing literally whatever I want and I get credit. On the website you can choose what kinds of videos you want to watch like fitness, cooking, wedding planning etc. So while I'm playing a fitness video I get to work out and get credit for it. There's also tons of other ways to get Swagbucks like online shopping, which is something I would do anyway. Its pretty cool. We use our Swagbucks to pay for Hulu!

Next is InboxDollars. This one is not as easy as the other two but again I say, its worth it. You'll get like 3 emails every couple of days and all you have to do is open them, go down to the bottom, and click confirm email. That's it. There are surveys and videos but this app isn't set up like the others so its not as easy but you just have to be patient. Also on some emails it offers "If you buy this, you'll get $5 back" I really like those (even though I don't do it often). I have almost $30 for just being on my phone. But the nice part is I don't have to be on it long. It's perfect for waiting rooms, public transit, and whatever else you could think of!

So Walmart has this crazy awesome app that is amazing. After you check out and hand you the receipt you open this app and scan (take a picture of) you receipt. Once its scanned, Walmart checks out what you bought then check all the other grocery stores out to see if you can get ANY of your items cheaper at a different place. When they say they want to have the lowest prices they mean! If they do find one they give you back your money in an electric Walmart gift card. Since we have been doing this we have got back...almost $80! DAY-UM! Also when walking away from Walmart we find that the parking lot is sprinkled with receipts that people are too lazy to throw away. PICK THOSE UP! Every little bit helps.

Which brings me to our last one which is ReceiptHog. Very close to the Walmart app but its for other receipts too. On our walks to get mPlaces coins we often find random receipts on the ground. Pick those up and laugh all the way to the bank! You scan (take a picture of) the receipt and get coins that turn into cash that can go toward an amazon or you can have it be sent into your paypal account.
