Phil Does a Nuzlocke: Pokemon Y #2 - Part 3

Here is the team from last time:

I headed up to Route 10 and caught my new friend Cecil the Electrike. Along the way, I stopped some Team Magma members on the way to Geosenge Town. No big deal. In Geosenge, Leader Korrina challenged me to a battle.

I continued on to Route 11 and caught Diego the Hariyama! Unfortunately, Sally the Floette died in a double battle with Brain and Brawn. Diego was called up earlier than I hoped. After beating the Hiker, I went into Reflection Cave and accidentally hit a Chingling too hard. Dang.

While making my way through the cave some things happened! Dave evolved into Talonflame, Ally evolved into Grumpig, and Kim evolved into Marowak. My family's growing up before my eye. How sweet.

However, soon after Ally evolved an Ace Trainer ended her life. Ace Trainers are brutal people. Ally was exchanged for Cecil the Electrike before I advanced too far further. After I made it to Shalour City it was clear I need to level up my team a little before I thought about challenging the gym. Ben evolved into Blastoise and Cheeks evolved into Chesnaught while exploring the cave.

I went to see what I was my encounter was on Route 12 and ran into my new buddy Carl the Slowpoke! Time to do some more grinding before I head to the gym.

Dave the Talonflame took care of Mienfoo and Machoke pretty easily, and Benjamin the Blastoise took care of Hawlucha after a little bit of a struggle. Finally, the third badge was mine!

#Blessed

#blessed There are certain things that are blessings. A new baby in the family, a sick loved one feeling better, or even going out to lunch with a friend you haven't seen in a while. But a pair of new shoes when you already have a ton is not a blessing. A new kitchen table or a new TV is not a blessing. Growing up in a church I honestly rarely heard the words “blessing” or “blessed”. When someone says they are “blessed they are basically saying “God is shinning down on me to get this material thing and I'm going to post on Facebook about it.” Instead what they should be saying is “I'm so thankful to have this new TV” or “I am proud of myself for working hard and saving up for my new TV.” I was scrolling down my news feed and saw that a girl who competed in a vocal competition, got a very high rating. She posted “I'm very blessed to have revived a high rate at the competition this past weekend.” No. That's not a blessing. Maybe she could have said she was blesse

Phil Writes About Sims 3: Forensic Specialist: Dynamic DNA Profiler

Here  is a link to the list of all Lifetime Wishes For this Lifetime wish, a sim needs to gets to level ten of the Police career path (Forensics Branch). Carl Smith decided to set out on this journey. Once he got a job at the Police Station, he set off on a quest to get in shape. Working out in front of an old TV can only get you so far, though.  After working this way up the ranks, Carl found he needed more skills like painting, logic, and writing reports. He managed to scrap enough funds together to purchase an easel. This led to selling painting to buy a chessboard and a computer.  Years of grinding away at these skills finally resulted in Carl reaching his goal of Dynamic DNA Profiler!
