Hipster Family Legacy Ep1 Intro

I got the idea to make a hipster family when I got the Sims 3 University expansion pack. As the generations continue I'm going to change the social groups. The children of this generation (children of the hipsters) might be super preppy or very grungy. I haven't decided yet BUT if anyone thinks of an idea I will be more than happy to hear them. So here is my hipster family

The guy is named Jax Cunningham
His traits are; handy, couch potato, genius, vegetarian, eco-friendly,and frugal
He is level 8 of the video game designer (level 10 nerd)



His girlfriend is named Madeline
Her traits are; Loves the Outdoors, excitable, eco-friendly, easily impressed, and angler
She is level  of the Science career.

 


The house they are living in I built from the ground up! Which may not seem very impressive but I NEVER build houses because I don't like doing it but I found a relatively easy design online and slightly followed it.

My main goal right now is to get them engaged, married, then both of them get promotions. I'm not going to use any cheats so they will have other things to do before I can have him propose.

Our first Disney run was this past February 2015, and we were in no way properly prepared so here is what to expect.  RunDisney Expo:   The expo was a little overwhelming but definitely worth it. There is a lot to look at and free items, so take your time! We were too excited and wanted to get into the parks as soon as we could, but my next race we will be there longer. They had everything from a runners pouch for your phone, keys, etc.to the RunDisney signature shoes!   Before the Expo you go to pick up your race bib , t shirt, and a small bag of goodies. #Blessed

#blessed There are certain things that are blessings. A new baby in the family, a sick loved one feeling better, or even going out to lunch with a friend you haven't seen in a while. But a pair of new shoes when you already have a ton is not a blessing. A new kitchen table or a new TV is not a blessing. Growing up in a church I honestly rarely heard the words “blessing” or “blessed”. When someone says they are “blessed they are basically saying “God is shinning down on me to get this material thing and I'm going to post on Facebook about it.” Instead what they should be saying is “I'm so thankful to have this new TV” or “I am proud of myself for working hard and saving up for my new TV.” I was scrolling down my news feed and saw that a girl who competed in a vocal competition, got a very high rating. She posted “I'm very blessed to have revived a high rate at the competition this past weekend.” No. That's not a blessing. Maybe she could have said she was blesse

Phil Writes About Sims 3: Forensic Specialist: Dynamic DNA Profiler

Here  is a link to the list of all Lifetime Wishes For this Lifetime wish, a sim needs to gets to level ten of the Police career path (Forensics Branch). Carl Smith decided to set out on this journey. Once he got a job at the Police Station, he set off on a quest to get in shape. Working out in front of an old TV can only get you so far, though.  After working this way up the ranks, Carl found he needed more skills like painting, logic, and writing reports. He managed to scrap enough funds together to purchase an easel. This led to selling painting to buy a chessboard and a computer.  Years of grinding away at these skills finally resulted in Carl reaching his goal of Dynamic DNA Profiler!
